Scott Myers is an ordained Presbyterian minister and has served as senior minister at the historic Westport Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, Missouri since 1994. He helped lead the church through a five year long crisis after a catastrophic fire (2011), which has concluded with the rebuilding of a unique, beautiful, architecturally innovative church in the historic area of Westport in Kansas City.
Scott received a $45,000 grant from Lily Endowment in 2005 to study “arts and spirituality.” He is a poet and a playwright. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.,History, English), University of Dayton (Masters of Counsling) and Eden Theological Seminary (M. Div.). He is married to Jeanne Reiss Myers, M.D., is happy father of three children and has eight grandchildren.
