Dear Westport Presbies and Friends,
Some news for the month of August…
News In and Around the Community:
Earlier this summer, Music Director Emily Davidson submitted a letter of resignation to the Session. Emily plans to stay with us until we find our next Music Director. Emily has served the congregation with excellence for over a decade. Join us for a potluck lunch in Emily’s honor on 8/17.
Exciting News! Our Solar installation has finally been switched on as of last week!
Sadly, our microphones are currently down. A component in the sound system that brings in the mics and sends the sound to the speakers needs replacing. We are working on getting it fixed as fast as we can!
Upcoming Events:
7/30 (Wed) – Choir Day (anyone who has ever participated in a choir is welcome to join) will be the last Wednesday of July at 6pm, at which there will be pizza, games, hymns, etc. RSVPs by Tuesday at the latest so we can order the right number of pizzas
8/10 (Sun) – Review of Congregational Assessment – Following a condensed worship service, we’ll gather in fellowship hall for refreshments and Jared will lead a discussion about the results from our congregational assessment.
8/17 (Sun) – Potluck – Join us for a potluck lunch in Emily’s honor.

Saturdays – 6:30 PM English Dance (monthly, 1st Saturdays in Basement)
Sunday – 8-9:30 – Westport Showers & breakfasts
9:40 – Overcoming Overwhelm (Children’s room)
10am- Book discussion group (library)

8.10 – All are invited to join us as we share about our favorite movies)
