Christmas Greetings!
Dear Members & Friends,
We hope this Christmas Season brings you joy and blessings, whether you are spending it here with us, or are traveling to visit beloved family members and friends.
We wanted to share a few ways you can celebrate the season with us:
Cookie Sale this Saturday!
Let us help you with your holiday baking and candy making with a great selection of sweet treats! Homemade Christmas Cookies and Candies for sale by the pound!
Our Annual Holiday Cookie Sale Fundraiser benefits our Westport Music Ministries.
Choose from a huge assortment of cookie flavors. Volunteers will box up your selections. Nut free and Gluten Free Options available.
We will also offer baked holiday breads, jams/jellies, and Riva’s beautiful holiday aprons (fabulous gifts!)
We will be in the Fellowship Hall at Westport Presbyterian Church, Saturday December 21 from 11 am – 2 pm.
Special Christmas Services
Lessons & Carols Worship Service (4th Sunday of Advent)
Sunday, Dec. 22 – 11 a.m. – This special musical service will feature readings, choral music and carol singing celebrating the Christmas Story.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Tuesday, Dec. 24 – 7 p.m. – Message: “Living with An Open Heart”, Receive a “Star Word”, Sing “Silent Night”
1st Sunday After Christmas Worship Service
Sunday, Dec. 29 – 11 a.m. – Join us for a Hymn/Carol Sing. We will gather to sing our favorite Christmas songs (requests welcome).
All Services are held in the Sanctuary at Westport Presbyterian Church (201 Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO) and will also be streaming online. To join us online from anywhere follow this link: facebook.com/westportpresbyterian/live
Other Announcements
Office Hours Limited *Monday Dec. 23-Friday, Jan. 3
Our office manager will be traveling out of town for 2 weeks over the holiday. Our office hours will be limited during this time. If you have church business that needs attention please contact Pastor Jared ([email protected])
Connection Hour Small Groups
Our “Overcoming Overwhelm” Group is taking a break and will resume January 5 at 9:30 a.m. The Book Discussion Class will meet this Sunday, but will not meet on Dec. 29, and will resume on January 5 at 10 a.m.
Thursday Resource Center & Women’s Showers
There will be no resource center, lunches or Thursday night showers on Thursday, Dec. 26. They will resume Thursday, Jan. 2. Sunday Showers will continue through the holidays.
