Mother’s Day Sunday + Potluck
We hope to see you this weekend (May 11) as we celebrate Mother’s Day Sunday. We will have a display of roses at the front of the sanctuary in honor of our mothers, grandmothers, or any motherly people in our lives. Following worship we’ll enjoy a potluck lunch together, for those who are able to stay. Bring something to share, or just bring yourself!
Congregational Survey Reminder
Our Session is excited about the future and we need your help as we make decisions and identify priorities. Please use this link below to fill out our congregational survey. This feedback will play an important role in our discernment about the direction of our congregation.
If there are multiple people in your household, we ask that each of you fill out a different survey. If you need help or simply prefer to fill out the survey on a paper copy, just let us know. The survey includes around 95 questions and will take you 20-25 minutes to complete.

Solar Panel Update
We are pleased to announce that our solar panel installation is scheduled to begin next week. This project will help offset the costs of our electric bill, which is by far our largest utility bill. This is one way we are showing our continued commitment to being an Earth Care Congregation.

Wed. May 7 6 pm – “Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness” Film Screening (at Intersect KC, 606 Gladstone Ave., KCMO)
Sat. May 10 2-4 p.m. – Westport Center for the Arts: Jane McClain Art Exhibit Closing Reception (WCA gallery at Westport Pres)
Sun. May 11 After Church – Mother’s Day Sunday Potluck (Fellowship Room)
Tue. May 13 5:30 pm – Happy Hour Gathering All are Welcome (Location To Be Announced)
Fri. May 16 12 noon – Westport Center for the Arts: Brown Bag Concert (Sanctuary)- “Hands and Feet” with Jan Kraybill, organist (Presented Free, Donations Welcomed) Bring a Lunch, Coffee & Cookies reception after the performance
Fri. May 16 1 pm – Westport Center for the Arts: Visual Art Exhibit “Girl/Woman/Girl” Kevin Callahan, watercolorist. Opening reception in conjunction with the Brown Bag concert. (WCA gallery at Westport Pres)
Sat. May 31 2-4 pm – Westport Showers: Volunteer Appreciation Event (Fellowship Room)
