Dear Westport Presbies and Friends,
Some news for the upcoming month!
Survey Results
On Sunday, August 10, we gathered in fellowship hall over donuts for a first look at feedback from our HolyCow! Congregational Assessment. The questions and comments from those present were insightful. And several commented that they felt energized by the feedback. A few asked about getting access to more information about the assessment. So we are making available all the information for everyone here.

This is probably information overload for most of you. No problem – it’s here for those who want the data deep dive! The Session will be working with the data as we move into the Fall towards the goal of forming a Pastor Nominating Committee. The Worship Committee and I will work together to implement many of the great ideas for improving our worship. And from time to time during late Summer and Fall, we will come back to these findings in our worship, sermons, prayers, and discussions.
For those who prefer a quick summary of the findings, our consultant put it this way: WPC is a small, healthy, unique congregation ready to move forward. If you missed our August 10 gathering, or just want to hear in more detail about some part of the assessment, just let me know. I’m happy to arrange a time to meet.
Peace, Jared.
