Church Mission Project:
Lunch for Our Hungry Neighbors
Hungry?
If you are in need of something to eat during the week, you can stop by the church Monday thru Friday from 11 am – 12 noon to request a bag. If you are in need of more than just a meal we will refer you to St. Paul’s Episcopal Food Pantry (just down the street) for further assistance. We don’t have a full size food pantry, but we can give you a little food to get you through the day.
Want to Help?
The Mission & Outreach committee is organizing an effort to create lunch bags that can be given out to hungry neighbors who come to the church looking for assistance. Donations are needed to help us keep a small supply of food bags on hand. Items we currently need: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Bread, Sliced Lunch Meat, fruit (bananas, oranges), fruit cups, small bags of chips, applesauce cups, granola bars or nutra-grain bars, and bottled water. Items can be brought to church any Sunday or dropped off during office hours throughout the week.
