Dear Westport Presbies,

The Season of Pentecost is upon us!  Join us for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our Pentacost service on May 19th.  Wear red to symbolize the fire of the Holy Spirit descending upon us all!

News In and Around the Community:

Our Interim Pastor Search Committee is hard at work, jumping through all the hurdles we’re required to get through before we can actually post the job and start interviews.  Here’s hoping for a productive search!  In the meantime, Session has renewed Pastor Susan’s contract with us for another three months.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Bettie Taylor will be held this week on Friday, May 3 at 11 a.m. in the church Sanctuary with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.
The Obituary: Bettie Taylor’s Obituary (hkfuneralhome.com)

We will post the livestreamed service on facebook: facebook.com/westportpresbyterian/live
and it will be crossposted to our Website not long after:   westportpresbyterian.org/sermons/bettie-taylors-memorial/

Sunday, May 19th at 12:10pm (following Worship Service), please join us for a BON VOYAGE PARTY in honor of Marian Thomas in the Fellowship Hall.  Light refreshments will be served as we wish Marian warmest wishes as she embarks on her latest adventure – relocating to Oberlin, Ohio.

Benjamin Ruiz, one of our choir leads, is off to exciting new opportunities.  Unfortunately, that means our church has lost his voice on our stage, and we were unable to wish him a proper farewell before he left us.  Best wishes!
