News In and Around the Community:

Emily’s last Sunday with us as Summer Music Director will be Sunday, Aug 9.  Please join us for a potluck after church to thank her for providing us music this summer!

Thank you for all your hard work on our Church Cleanup Day in July!

    *If anyone wants to donate to Back to School fundraiser, please give financial donations to WPC by Sunday earmarked for Back to School

Volunteer Opportunities:

NAAAP KC and some other midtown organizations will be hosting a BACKPACK GIVEAWAY/Back to School Supply drive on August 8. If you would like to make a financial donation through the church to help with this project, please place cash or check made out to Westport Presbyterian in a pew envelope and mark it “School Supplies” by Sunday, Aug. 2. Or you can give on our website through Tithely (Select Mission Giving as the fund and put School Supplies in the memo line.) We will donate all funds collected to help with this effort.  https://westportpresbyterian.org/giving/

As always, Westport Showers is looking for Volunteers on Sunday Mornings.
