Leader: God’s Message, from the God who lights up the day with sun and brightens the night with the moon and stars,
People: Be ready. The time is coming when I will make a brand new covenant with Israel and Judah.
Leader: It won’t be a repeat of the covenant I made with their ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant even though I did my part as their Master.
People: God’s Message: This is the brand new covenant that I will make with Israel when the time comes. I will put my law within them – write it on their hearts! – and be their God. And they will be my people.

Leader: They will no longer go around setting up schools to teach each other about God.

- 2024 PER CAPITA is $43.94 per member. This money helps support our denomination on the regional and national levels. The breakdown is: $9.80 to General Assembly, $3.15 to Synod, and $30.99 to Heartland Presbytery. If you would like to help out the church by paying your own Per Capita, make your check out to Westport Presbyterian Church or place money in a pew envelope and include “per Capita” on the memo line. - CHURCH DIRECTORY UPDATE: We are gathering information for a new church directory which will be available securely online and as a printed booklet. Please submit whatever contact information you would like to share with the congregation. Name, Address, Phone, Email, Birthdays & Anniversaries.
MISSION & OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES:
- Bread, Buns, Fruit, Water, Meat, Peanut Butter, Cheese are always needed for our INTERRUPT HUNGER work.
- WESTPORT SHOWERS happens on Sundays & Thursday nights. Men’s boxer brief underwear needed. Men’s and Women’s shoes. Backpacks! Coats, Sweatshirts, Warm Clothes for this cold weather!
- WESTPORT SHOWERS is looking for additional volunteers to help with Sunday mornings. With the increase in guests, we would like to have teams of 2 volunteers upstairs working together at the door and 2 downstairs working in the shower/laundry room each Sunday. You would be working with experienced volunteers who can train you in what is needed. If you would like to help, and are willing to volunteer 1 Sunday morning a month, reach out to Drew Irwin or Allison Rozga for more information.
