CALL TO CELEBRATE EPIPHANY

Pastor:      Epiphany is the holy season of Illumination!
All:           Revelation!
Pastor:      Surprising appearances!
All:           Cosmic signs!
Pastor:      Natural wonders!
All:           Marvels and joys!
Pastor:      Supernatural guidance!
All:           Emerging evidence!
Pastor:      Of spreading light –
All:           Enlightening the entire planet!

CALL TO COMMITMENT TO FOLLOW THE STAR

Pastor:      It took the Magi a long time to find the baby Jesus.
All:           Often, we too have to seek before we know.
Pastor:      We often have to belong before we believe.
All:           During Epiphany, let us recommit to making space for grace…
Pastor:      For seekers and travelers!
All:           For immigrants, homeless and all pandemic sufferers!
Pastor:      For displaced miners, factory workers, restaurant workers
All:           For families facing eviction and youth studying, striving to find a way!
Pastor:      Is the star of our faith and love shining brightly enough?
All:           To guide some Magi to the manger today!
Pastor:      Then let us follow the beautiful star!
